Nakakaiyak naman Ritchie. We had our dog, ROSA, euthanized too because she has kidney problem and has difficulty walking 'cause she was too overweight.

Lets not forget to mention all teh soaps you are cancelling to put up more talk shows. who the hell do you think is going to dvr them while they are at work? and now home maker or stay at hoem mother is going to sit down for an hour a day to look at osme show about what she shouldnt eat . this is a joke nad now to possibliy take off one of the longest running soaps to air Katie couric, seriously have you all gone mad

Most tv networks are doing this, feverishly chasing numbers that no longer exist. They have been trying to recover for a couple of years now and don't understand alot of these shows are getting good numbers but will never put them back where they used to be. So get used to not seeing alot of shows pass a first season.

shame on abc.Cancel my soaps I'm canceling u.We soap fans will bring abc down.U no u have a big following for soaps.the most faithful viewers.Cant miss a show.i have a dvr to tape every show.the only thing that is all year around.Hopefuly some other network will pick them up.It would be a gold mine.never asgain.Enough realiality n cooking on.

@filmgoerjuan Jaime, that was a perfectly reasonable comeback to his comment. And you have a point with the common decency with regard to people without manners.

@marco and @jai You two have given me an awesome idea!

I think in the light of not being able to use reason. I might have to rely on some arduino hacking, a really really strong floodlight and a flip video camera.

Not sure what to recommend, but this reminds me of an experience I had a while back. The neighbours across the street were having some work done in their house. One of the subcontractors had shown up and was standing around by the hedge dividing one yard from the other with a Starbucks cup in his hand. But he was standing half-in/half-out of the bushes and it became readily apparent by his actions that he was taking a piss. So far, so pathetic.

Then he starts eating a banana (sans washing his hands). When he finishes with it, he throws the peel across the street and *in front of my driveway*.

That's it...enough is enough. I go outside, pick up the peel, walk across to the guy and say "I'd really appreciate if you didn't throw your trash in my yard". As I walk to my house, he shouts out "Did that make you feel special? It's just a banana peel, it decomposes!".

"I don't appreciate people throwing trash on my street nor do I think the people that hired you would appreciate you urinating in their yard," I rejoined. Then went inside and spent the rest of the day hoping he didn't throw a rock through my window or slash my car's tires.

So yeah, it's a bit of a lost cause to try to preach common decency to people who've shown that they don't have any manners.

Put up either a 'You're being recorded on CCTV' sign.

Or...an 'Area cursed' sign with a pentagram on the ground and a hidden remote controlled smoke machine / speaker complete w/ demon-like voices saying "GET OUT!!!" when someone comes near ;)

When I lived in East Van, we had the same problem (albeit more with bums rather than people with cars and places to be). One of our roommates used an airsoft gun from the top floor to "light them up" as they tried to pee on our garage, jump our fence, whathaveyou. I don't like to advocate violence, usually. In this case, some tight groupings of plastic pellets to the back, or the legs did the trick. in 3 months, they stopped using the alley completely.
